MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Pinaymootang Health Centre is to improve health quality, accessibility, and outcomes for all community members; and advance self-determination in health at all levels of – individual responsibility, community care, and governance. We will achieve this by:

• Inviting community members to actively participate in the advancement of their own health;

• Providing a safe place to access resources, professional services, education, and advocacy;

• Creating partnerships focused on reducing inequities, eliminating racism, and health system reform;

• Transferring health knowledge that promotes awareness and self-responsibility;

• Enhancing and expanding local capacity for community health management;

• Protecting the rights of our People, Families, and our First Nation.
