National Native Alcohol and Drug Addictions Program (NNADAP)
The National Native Alcohol and Drug Addictions Program (NNADAP) supports the health and well-being of Pinaymootang First Nation community members by providing prevention, education, intervention, and referral services for addictions and mental wellness.
At Pinaymootang First Nation Health Centre, the NNADAP Worker is referred to as the Addictions Coordinator. This role supports individuals and families dealing with a wide range of concerns not only alcohol and drug use, but also other challenges that affect overall wellness.
Services Available
The Addictions Coordinator provides:

Addictions assessments and support.

Referrals to treatment centres and other health services.

One-on-one counselling and case management.

Education on addictions, mental wellness, and healthy lifestyles.

Advocacy and support for individuals and families.

Coordination of workshops and community awareness activities.
Additional counselling services may include:

Mental health counselling.

Family counselling.

Youth counselling.

Sexual abuse counselling.

Domestic violence counselling.

Anger management support.
Mental Health Services
Mental health therapy services are available through First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (Health Canada).
Current Mental Health Therapists:
