In 2011, Pinaymootang First Nation Health Centre took an interest in seeking accreditation status that will improve a standard of care in health service delivery for the membership of Pinaymootang First Nation.

Pinaymootang successfully received Accreditation Status through Accreditation Canada in 2014, with renewals every 4 years. Most recent, in 2018 Pinaymootang went through a renewal process and received "Accreditation with Commendation", which is the second highest level in the accreditation process. The next Accreditation review is scheduled in September 2022.
