The Pinaymootang First Nation established a Health Advisory Committee in May 2006 with a mandate to oversee and ensure the proper operations, management and delivery of the Pinaymootang Health Services and Programs to the First Nation Membership.

 
The goal is to improve the health services and resources to the membership.

The Health Advisory Committee is responsible to:

​

• Help oversee the proper operation and management of the health programs for the community;

• Work in liaison with Health Council Portfolio Holders and Director of Health;

• Ensure that health services and resources are provided to the First Nation membership;

• Make recommendations of any issues pertaining to the Health Program to Chief and Council who make final decisions.
