E-Health Services
Mustimuhw Community Electronic Medical Record (cEMR)
Pinaymootang First Nation Health utilizes the Mustimuhw Community Electronic Medical Record (cEMR), a client-centred electronic charting system designed for First Nations health centres. The system supports a wide range of services, including community health encounters, immunization management, group programming, mental health charting, home and community care documentation, and medical transportation management. The cEMR enhances service delivery by improving efficiency and allowing frontline workers to dedicate more time to direct client care.
E-Chart Manitoba
E-Chart Manitoba is a secure electronic system that provides authorized health-care providers with access to client health information when required. The system consolidates information from multiple provincial databases, including prescription medications, laboratory results, immunizations, and diagnostic imaging reports, to support coordinated and informed care.
Telehealth Services
Through Manitoba Telehealth, Pinaymootang Health Centre provides access to health services using secure communication technologies to reduce barriers related to distance, time, and cost.
MBTelehealth supports health-care delivery through secure videoconferencing and digital communication tools, including:
-
Videoconferencing for clinical and non-clinical appointments
-
MyMBT Video for telehealth sessions and meetings
-
MyMBT Messaging to support communication and care coordination between providers
-
eConsult services that allow health-care providers to consult with specialists, share clinical questions, and transmit non-urgent medical information or images without requiring patient travel
Personal Health Information Management System (PHIMS)
In 2025, Pinaymootang First Nation became the first First Nation community to receive training and implement the Personal Health Information Management System (PHIMS) for documenting assessments and treatment related to sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBI/STI). This system enables nursing staff to securely communicate with Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and provincial health providers, supporting timely, coordinated, and comprehensive patient care.
