This day has finally arrived to publicly present the research report titled “Honouring Jordan’s Principle” that was conducted in partnership with McGill University. This research report was launched in early 2015, which speaks on obstacles to access equal health and social services for First Nation children with complex needs living in Pinaymootang First Nation.

The community wishes to thank and acknowledge Luna Vives, Vanda Sinha, and Lucyna Lach of McGill University for their dedication to this report and being so passionate on the work that they do. We also thank the Advisory Committee for committing their time and providing their knowledge and to the families for allowing us into their lives to share their stories.

The community wishes a special acknowledgement to Amanda Meawasige for her expertise, devotion and her role in connecting our community. You are an inspiration and the role you played has truly made a difference. Many Miigwech’s to you.
